Hi everyone

I just had my car back from a porsche specialist in the forest of dean, i went to start it today and it was misfiring and now it wont start could this be the dme relay, its just had some major work done and it was fine before that.

regards paul

My first port of call would be the reference sensors too. Check the multi plugs held by a bracket at the back of the engine, perhaps whoever worked on the car didn't push them home properly. It's worth giving them a clean anyway.

You said a lot of work has been done by the specialist but don't say what? Go through what they have done, the fault most likely lays there somewhere if the car was running fine before.. Did you have a new dizzy cap and rotor arm fitted? If so remove the dizzy cap to make sure the rotor arm screw hasn't come loose, your symptoms could be this.

Regards

Pete

Oh dear I wonder is this specialist company has a 2 word name beginning and ending with A?

What MAJOR work has this company done on your car?
