944 oil filters?

What type of oil filters are people using on their 944's?And are there any differences - does it matter what type is used as long as it's changed regularly?
I've been told that k&n do one (not sure if it's for the s2 though).
Any thoughts?
 
I used eurocarparts which've been fine and fairly cheap for mine. Although for no apparent reason my latest filter was about 4-5cm shorter than the one i took off.
 
I use mann filters, mainly because they have flats around the top and they do there own removal tool (abt. £5)

Previous owner of one of my cars used a filter that had no flats on it. It took about 2 hrs and the purchase of 3 different filter removal tools to get it off, I ended up crushing it so I could not give up.

Don't use any tools to fit a new filter (hand tight only)
