Hi fellas
Anyone seen this 944 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270173009308&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123
Apparently it's a 2.7 which according to the seller were only made in '89, which may be right but if so why has it got a 2.5 16 valve engine under the bonnet. Going by the body it's an @88 944S. It's on a Q plate and when questioned the seller just replied 'it's all correct as per the log book' yeah right. Me smells something a bit fishy. I think I'd give it a wide berth!

Just an engine swap the DVLA don't know about I guess. Might make a good parts car if the (increasingly rare) 2.5 'S' motor is sound.
