944 on TV news

Just seen the news and it showed a 944 being dug out of the snow by fireman and then being pushed onto the road.............dont think they will get far as it also showed 4 x 4's stuck.

It was between Hull and York

Just been shown again with more footage.......BBC NEWS 24 .......they might use the same footage on "gas TV" later.

Looked like dark grey, maybe a turbo or S2 and I think it had a scoop on the bonnet..........not sure of any of the above as it had a lot of snow on it.

Plate had been blurred.

If its anybody on here I don't think they will reply today!

Hope they have packed the usual blanket, hot drink, shovel, Ice axe, husky etc.

Sounds like it's Ben 'Sideways' King from Titanic, but it can'ty be as his has no engine and is waiting for my old one to be reconditioned..

I don't think that would necessarily stop him [:D]
 
There is a photo of the same car in todays Mail it is a C reg with a Porsche Crest on the plate. I cannot find the photo on the net but maybe someone else will.
