944 Radiator fitment / Upgrade

Spotted a aluminum replacement radiator to improve cooling and replace the original 27 year in my 944S, 16v ,2.5 ltr, 1988

So will a rad's from other 944 fit in a 944S model. Ive found this part but only for the "2.5 8 valve, 3.0ltr and turbo fitment"
The majority of the hoses appear the same but has any-one actually put a upgraded radiator into a 944s and i'm asking are rad's are basically the same and interchangeable across
the 944 range and fit the mounting holes still?

As always answers much appreciated from anyone with the knowledge to share
GPI ALUMINUM ALLOY RADIATOR PORSCHE 944 2.5L TURBO;S2 3.0L M/T 1985-1991[/h1]

Without actually trying it in the car I couldnt confirm it.

However, the engines in all the 944's are essentially the same, certainly from the head gasket downwards (in terms of waterpump pipes) so theres no reason why this wouldnt physically fit in the engine bay. You might have to make some adjustments/ changes to the water hoses but it should fit !

The other consideration is the mounting points for the radiator fan shroud. I dont know what set up the 944s has ? Looking at the picture it looks as thought the turbo/S2 twin fans and cowling would bolt on ok from the 6 mounting tags.

Thanks Chris,
I've bitten the bullet and purchased it, I may be bold or stupid and may have just blow the money away,,, but if its a direct replacement to the porsche original part this unit far out performs it, the hose fitment are mainly the same and go to the correct locations to the original radiator too...so if and when I get round to it as the first job to be done is a leaky oiler cooler first then the rad swap I'll up date this post on the outcome.
