944 radio head unit options

Gents I've tried a few searches but can't find the article again. It was a discussion re head units. It was pretty picture heavy I think to.

My car has no head unit (had one on the eBay advert) but delivered without.

The thread listed Becker Grand Prix a VDO Dayton of sorts and I think a Pioneer. Theses were all in keeping with the cars controls and all had dispay option to match your dash (if your dash illuminates anymore).

Thanks in advance.

Is this it?

https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.asp?m=853358&mpage=1&key=head%2Cunit&#853358

I searched under head unit but open the search to 365 days not 30.

I thanks for that, I'm sure it was a different thread but its a starter.. cheers.

Whilst on topic what is the preference for those trying to keep the head unit in keeping with the dash rather than Blackpool illuminations?

I thinking this http://www.expertcom.de/ms4150rs_mp3.htm rather than the Becker route. welcome to other suggestions with pic's if possible gents.

Pretty much every UK 944 had a Panasonic.

I'm guessing cassette player so surplus to requirements if you like your iPod or the old CD on a long drive?

Later cars came with a Panasonic F35, which has a 3.5mm stereo jack input on the front panel.
