944 s2 brake bias

hello again - I have another brake question......
Does the 944 S2 use a bias valve / proportioning valve in the brake system or does it just rely on the MC bore differences for front and rear?
if it does have one where is it located and what does it look like?
Thanks

Assuming it's the same as the Turbo (which is almost certain) it's on the top of the ABS unit behind the front offside wheel, behind the arch liner.

excellent cheers - do you know if a different one was used for an MO30 equipped car?
and also as its situated on top of the ABS unit does it required the abs unit to work?
Thanks for all your help. Rich

I wouldn't think it requires the ABS unit as the non-ABS cars also have a brake bias valve fitted as well.

Cheers

good news - thanks very much - looks like ill be down the scrappy at the weekend then [;)] hopefully its a pocket sized pice of kit. BEing so close to the ABS unit is dangereous though -Im trying to resist the urge to fit the ABS too and make my life over complicated!! but it is quite tempting.

I think it just fits between the ABS outlet and the brake hoses, it isn't actually part of the ABS unit.
