944 S2 cabriolet driver's manual

Please can someone tell me where can I purchase a driver's manual for my 944 S2 Cabriolet? The OPC have told me that these manuals are no longer available.

I think you might be down to eBay or the Porsche breakers then; Porschapart or Douglas Valley would be a good start.

Try Gmund books too. They advertise in most of the Porsche Mags.

Quite often you also see them at Autojumbles, I'll look out for one at Husborne Crawley next week if you are not going.

Also, I don't believe there is a specific S2 Cabriolet manual (apart from a supplement for the earliest cars like Graeme mentions below). My S2 coupe manual also covers the Cabriolet

I think my '92 cab's manual was just the S2 & Turbo one which included the cab specific info scattered through it. In other words the same as I had had with previous older cars but with the cab added in. I can't remember if my '90 Turbo manual covers the S2 cab as well as the coupe.

I bought a replacement 944 manual (1988, covering S) from Design 911. Brand new, so I don't know where they come from if they are no longer in print. Cost £30.

Mine has an 8 page supplement. If its only the information your after I'll scan it and post it on here. I'll also be at Husborne Crawley so I'll keep an eye out.

Hi chrisdenton/944turboS/Diver999,

Thanks for the info. Mine one is year 89. I have neither the main manual nor the cab supplement. Please do look out one for me. My contact number is 07867 824361. Thanks in advance.

Regards
Charles

Great site Kevin - thanks. I've been wondering if the workshop manuals were available for download [:)]

I bought some of fleabay that was just a copy of PET (freely available on the internet) and generic repair docs. These seem much better.
