Hi everyone,

Having just purchased my first Porsche - (944S2 1990 model), I wondered where the most competitive insurance can be sourced and how much I can expect to pay? I pick the car up next weekend so need to get something in place quite quickley.

I am 36 with full no claims

I apologise if this subject has been covered previously but I am new to the site and can't seem to locate any past subjects.

Kind Regards
J

Give Phil at Hagerty Insurance a call - 08700 420 220 - he was really helpful when I was sorting out insurance for my S2.

Many Thanks for the quick responses

Just arranged my Insurance through Hagerty - £160 full comp!!

Thanks again

OK so it's not a 944S2 but should be similar in price.

924 Turbo 2 .... 6K miles including track day cover.... Heritage Insurance... £133 comp. That includes 15% PCGB discount.

I have just insured my 1986 944 Lux, as a second car, through 'Need to Insure' (01623 720081) as recommended by Hagerty - they couldn't insure me as I wanted to use my car for the daily commute one or 2 days a week and that would have invalidated their classic policy.

That said, the good news is that Need to Insure quoted me £176.50 (full NCB and no points or convictions for me (aged 50) - however, my 'criminal' wife has one SP30 and £60 fine!).

Really helpful (both Hagerty's and Need to Insure) - excellent service.

Try these people, they had the best quotes for 2 years running
