944 s2 performance figures

i've looked at my handbook, but there is no power/torque or in gear figures for the s2.
it has the 2.5, 2.7 and the turbo, but not the 3L.

what are they for the cabriolet?

Actually 211bhp, 207 ft/lb so not really that slow and it picks up better than the turbo from rest but lacks the oomph when the turbo kicks in. Never driven one but supposed to be the best day to day version.

My S2 manual says:

Power 211 bhp @ 5800
Torque 280nm @ 4100

Oil consumption up to 1.5 lts per 1000 km!! []

0-62 7.1 secs

Max speed 149 mph

Has all the in-gear graphs, I can scan them in later.

ISTR contemporary road tests had the 0-60 around 6 seconds flat and the 0-100 and 1/4 mile times just under 15.

Yes: two-up roadtests with timing gear usually achieved noticeably better performance figures than Porsches conservative published times...

I have a list of Autocars figures somewhere: all substantially quicker than Porsche have claimed.
