Any recomendations for tyres on my 944 S2 (on the original wheels)?
Yes, I'd recommend tyres. []
Welcome to the forum, you'll find most of us have a similar sense of humour so there's still time to leave before you get dragged down to our level!
If you search the forum you'll find lots of recommendations. The ones to avoid are P6000's. I had four bags of concrete in the back the other day and they were still slippy on a nearly dry road! The plus side is that after 3000 miles the price labels have started to wear off....

I am taking Paul's recommendations, and have a set of Kuhmo Ecsta's arriving on Friday for the back of my S2.ORIGINAL: Diver944
and I'm a Kumho Ecsta fan.
I'll let you know how they are on Saturday! (In the meantime, I am LOVING sliding the back around on some borderline-illegal Conti Sport Contacts. Grip is a seriously over-rated concept IMHO!)

I know that some are put off by their own brand snobbery, but I am running Falken FK452's on my S2, and find them better in most all areas than the Pirelli P-Zero Nero's which were fitted previously. They also represent great value for money at £65 fitted.
Where do you find them for £65 fitted?
(The Kuhmo's I ordered on-line have just arrived, and turned into Falken 452's en route. I think that they didn't have the Kuhmo's in stock, so substituted the Falkens instead. However, they would have cost £64.00p delivered, not fitted, so you found a great price.)
