Chaps & Ladies,

A heads up that my car is advertised in the Forum "For Sale" section and nowhere else yet.

Sorry to say that a change of plans means I'm breaking this Rare machine.

Call me a call anytime for more info

Sorry to hear that [:(]

In a more mercinary mode however ~ Have you got headlamp washers?

If so I'm interested in your indicator / wiper stalks (assuming they are in good "solid click" working order that is). Name yer price.

I would also be interested in some bits. I'm after some M030 suspension components (I assume all Silver Rose's had M030?). I'm after front springs, rear torsion bars and both anti roll bars. Again give us a shout with a price.

Cheers.
Scott

Think you're out of luck scott ~ cut & pasted from the "for sale" section:-

Parts available;

Good clean 87K Mile engine , LSD Gearbox with Oil Cooler, unique Silver Rose interior in very good condition, Non Sunroof Bodyshell complete, steering rack, cross member, doors, tailgate, bonnet, Glass, complete exhaust, dash board, lights, all electrics and ancillaries available.

Sorry but M030 brakes & shocks, wishbones, windscreen, Turbo S Wheels, door handles are not available.

Chaps, ARB's are available and off the car.

Torsion bars I planned to keep but I would exch them for S2 or 200 Turbo spec TB's.

M030 was std on the Turbo S and 250 bhp Turbos.

Give me a call.

ORIGINAL: racerhead

M030 was std on the Turbo S and 250 bhp Turbos.

Not quite. It was standard on the Turbo S and '89 Turbos (which were all 250 bhp) and became an option for the 1990 model year.

Andy ~ so do you have the wiper/indicator stalk assembly then? [&:]

if so - I'll call you. [:)]

mik, is your's broken or does it just not have the headlamp wash function? If it's the latter then I'd like it when you get a new on as my indicator canceller is u/s and my headlamp wash is surplus to requirements.

My indicator stalk broke some internal gubbins too. []

Replaced it with a unit I spotted on ebay ~ seller was local so it was ideal.

Got home only to discover that it has no headlamp wash function. That was when I realised headlamp wash was an option on the S2 ~ had just assumed it was std!

Was going to just resell and not fit, but I realised I used my indicators a little more than my headlamp washers [;)] It feels nice & solid and I'd gladly pass it on to you if I find a "full function" unit. I reckon I owe you that. [;)]

Let me know when you're ready and we can sort something out.

FWIW I understood all UK S2's to have headlamp washers. My LHD one of German origin (via France and living in Denmark last I heard) didn't have washers and instead had rubber bungs in the holes in the PU which made it look very poverty-spec. Just the image I'm going for with the Turbo though.

Mik,
I have the control stalks and washers (do you mean the nozzles in the bumper) anyway I have most parts call me anytime.

Good stuff Andy. [:)]

Don't need the nozzles ~ just the stalks ~ like THIS .

Once the steering wheel is off, this is just held on by a small clamp bolt.

Will give you a call later today.
