944 Specialist

Andy,
I use Project Nine engineering (Cliff Lowe) who are based in Marden - Unit 2 Mill Farm, Hunton Road, TN12 9QX.
I'm very pleased with the work he has done on my car at fair prices. Others in the Kent region also use him.

White 2.7 automatic

+1 for Project Nine - Cliff cut his teeth on 944's and knows FE Porsches (I don't include modern varieties!) inside out, and is a superb guy to deal with - looks after my 968.

Why not have a day trip to the seaside [:D]? Bournemouth to be exact. JMG to be more precise [8D]!! I wouldn't take my '44 Turbo anywhere else [:D]!!

Getting work/xmas/new year out of the way.

Will give Cliff a ring and see if he performs and assessment service so I can work out a budget and see what is required to bring car upto scratch over time or sell it on and save monies to by a better example.

Never thought I'd ever own a 944, always had bikes or classic Triumphs. The 944 was a cheap purchase after a couple of beers last May and had some fun with it and never let me down, slowly working around the areas of neglect but I think some big bills looming.

O/S sill, N/S lower front wing repair, N/S rear arch has a crease. Gear change positive but very stiff, clutch bite is high and will slip if you welly it. Wine coming from the engine belts/rollers already replaced.

Engine is strong with 82k, remainder of bodywork is A2+, interior is clean tidy with a small tear in drivers base

Looking forward to 2014

Andy, can i buy your car cheap so that i can take advantage of that wine coming from the rollers [:D]

Thanks all, booked into Project 9 next week for a health check
