944 suspension help?

Guest

New member
im converting my 924 to 944 suspension, the front seems fairly straightforward, simply bolting on front struts with discs pads and calipers attached, any advice on exactly what i need for the rear would be helpfull? eg do i need a 944 handbrake cable or can i use the 924 one?

Ive had a quick look, and the adjustable section of the swinging arm has a different p/n to the 924 but the sprung plate is the same. The rear wheel bearings have the same p/n but the 944 has a wider track.
You will most lkely need: the 924 driveshafts, swinging arms, 944 calliper-carriers, callipers, disc, backlplate, and try a handbrake cable for a 924 turbo.

Let us know how close we were. This is only an educated guess

Thanks for your advice with the rear suspension and hub up-grade. All I have to do know is buy it !!! Front end is nearly done, I just had some problems trying to put 944 roll bar and arms on. So have had to do some mods. Thanks again Rob.
