944 Turbo Cab for sale

They sometimes take a while to sell, strange for such a rare model , c600 worldwide, c100 RHD of which approx half remaining, some of which will be very high miles or rusty and may never see the road again - you could argue its a 4 cylinder but that doesn't seem to affect 356 or cosworth values!

According to how many left there was a peak of 31 on the road last year, a total of 64/65 including sorn. You can argue the S2 cab doesn't look a lot different but there are only approx 550 of those left in the UK so its not like you see them all the time either.

Maybe if the called the cab a speedster (and the screen is lower / more raked than the coupe) it would be more sort after!

I love driving mine, the open top means you can hear the standard exhaust note which was missing in the coupe and adds to the involvement - I do most of my miles roof down. Its not quite as stiff as the coupe and you can get occasional scuttle shake on really poor surfaces, but the lower centre of gravity - no roof, double floor means it still handles as you expect a 944 too.

I had mine out and about this week as I used it to transport my daughter and her (short!) friend to their post GCSE prom, it still drew attention among the assorted prom transport (Maclarens / Lambos / beach buggy / trike / panamera / Range rovers / double decker bus / 928 / Jags / etc) as a lot of 16 year olds haven't seen one before.

Some friend’s kids owned the prom transport last night . . .

Bunged the local ice cream man £40 and he took them in the van with the Jingles playing as he dropped them off. Completely overshadowed everyone else there :ROFLMAO:
