944 turbo for sale near Derby

On my way to and from work this week i've been passing a lovely looking guards red 944 turbo at a layby in Willington with a big FOR SALE sign in the window. I've not had a chance or the time to pull in and take a quick squint but after a couple of slow drive by's it looks great from the outside - really vibrant red paint - not pink, and it looks lower than standard so i'm not sure what suspension is lurking underneath. It has a price of £4k in the window and is an E reg. I think this is the car I used to pass quite frequently when I had my car and we used to wave at eachother as we passed by, but I could never tell if it was a turbo or S2.

If anyone thinks they might be interested then I don't mind stopping by one day and seeing if there is a phone number on it anywhere.

If I had a spare £4k kicking about i'd be very tempted myself! I forgot how good they look in red.

I hope you're right but really, i've got so much on my plate at the moment with the kids and impending house overhauling I can't spare the time or the cash for any new car, so hold the sweepstake for now as it will be at least 4 years before i'm in a position to throw money away on something as frivolous as this.

This one looks nice though and assuming the body is as good as it looks it should be a good solid car.

Methinks he doth complain too much.

Sweepstake? Good idea. Can I put my money on this time next year, with an early (but very nice) lux, bought at a good price in order to keep some spare cash for the house and kids ... [;)]
