944 Turbo on Pistonheads. Looks nice!

Hi.

I saw this on Pistonheads just now http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/178459.htm. I spoke to the seller; he sounds like a nice guy. It is a pity he is in Scotland as the car looks like it is worth a viewing. Not very much history with it unfortunately but it seems like a good price.

Anyone got any thoughts on it?

Assuming decent mileage, history etc, it sound pretty reasonable.

Please take off the side trims, though, you could park a bike in the gaps....[:'(]

Im not 100% sure if its the same car but i sold some parts to a guy years ago (6-7) and he turned up in a red 44 turbo with the reg Jil *944 if it the same car im thinking of i would get it hpi checked !!

Yeah, that was my thought: what is underneath? Also, would probably want to take them off the car, how are they attached?
What do you mean by the HPI check comment, RH? Was it bent when you saw it?

If its the same car im thinking of it had an interior fire and was bought as salvage about 7 years ago,i sort of know the bloke who repaired it for himself so it will have been done properly !!
