Recent trip Dave? - looks like the weather was good

I did my first trip over there in June - I can see how it becomes an obsession [:D]

Very recent, got back on Monday.

The weather was fantastic, I'd forgot what summer was supposed to be like!

You sure it's not 5 years of ownership? You bought that around the time I had my Impreza, which I had after I bought and broke my Turbo the first time, and I only bought my Turbo 6 years ago.

That car looks exceptionally delicious in black with black wheels and lots of shine. I like .... a lot!

Note to self - must finally, once and for all, get my hairy smelly butt over to the 'ring to see for myself. Too much dreaming, not enough doing ...

Oli.

Looks really good on the move with the Black wheels!!

I'm off to the ring on Friday.... but in the 924...

Love the first pic in the Karussel, my old wheels look amazing [:D]

How is the black paint standing up to the PF97 brake pads?

I'm jelous. I'm planning to get out there next year. Good to know the 944 is robust enough to handle the task.

I think the grain adds to the atmosphere - I didn't take it anyway as I was in the car in the picture.

I really like this pic of my (now ex) 964 on the way back from the 'Ring at Easter.

My camera phone has a flash....[8|]
Can't be any worse then the pointless built in video cameras. The other year my brother got a passenger seat clip on his mobile of me pulling a power slide at 70 mph. Imagine the excitement, my time for a bit of WWW fame I thought! Sadly on the clip you can't hear the tyres, the engine or see much of anything just blurs of the inside of a S2 and me swearing a lot!

Blooming mobile phones.

The power slide was accidental by the way in case anyone has a go.
