I just had a proper look at the ad. Colour is personal taste and it is unusual, so if you like that colour there won't be many others around.
It does sound like the guy is a bit of an idiot, which could be a mixed blessing. I'm always suspicious with something like this that the owner would give it away rather than just fix it before selling when he has all the parts - unless there is more to it that he isn't sharing. Being an idiot he might genuinely be prepared to lose out though. Then again being an idiot who drives his car into a grass verge at 30mph and then drives into it again after he has started to repair it I would be suspicious that there isn't a lot more damage to it. Grass verges aren't very yielding and it could easily have a kinked chassis rail
Bottom line is that it's owned by a plonker who has crashed it and then left it sitting around for a year without fixing it. It also has dodgy wheels and the Turbo badge is in the wrong place, neither of which are good things.
If it has a good engine and the interior is nice (note; no picture of the bit that shows most wear) it would break for more than £1,800 though. It might even be worth resurrecting, but a cat D 944 Turbo in a limited appeal colour (that's why it's rare - nobody ordered it like that) is never going to be worth much.
