No need to apologise
With only circa 77 Silberrosa Turbo S cars coming to the UK they tend to come up through national auction sites more often than privately. Certainly I don’t know of any currently for sale.

Steve is still about...I have some fond memories of Titanic days and seeing Steve at various events. IIRC he no longer has his car, he's still active on FB.g59tester said:FWIW In the Mid 2000;s A guy called Steve Cox who had a Silver Rose and was active in TIPEC and on the Titanic forum organised a meeting to try and get as many Silver Rose cars together. 22 turned up

The car was broken up in Scotland. It was a rot box, Alastair had it with a view to sorting it, it honestly needed a new shell. Not entirely sure where it went next, but the burgundy CS steering wheel out of it now lives in my car!

If someone kept the chassis plate and engine block, perhaps it has or will be re shelled.

Might be wrong, but I think the engine went to Norway, not sure where the shell and log book went. Alastair definitely parted with it.

This car has been dry stored in the corner of a farm in the Athlone area for around 18 years.
Here in Ireland in the late 90s and early noughties a lot of 924's and 944's came from your parts. this is when they had reached rock bottom and eBay was very prevalent. A good lot were in poor condition and were razzed until they gave trouble then parked. Any I hear about are visited and documented.
This particular car is worth visiting no matter - The person who gave the description and contact details is not a car person so its worth it to me to go see the car anyway. If it is a silver rose it will be a find and a half, if not well its another tallied and documented.

I could live with the silver rose paint, but not the hideous cloth interior.Someone actually wants silver rose colour?!?

One day it will be Retro Chic (when they have tried everything else). Hounds Tooth has made a comeback on the collectors editions 911s.
