944 turbo

I have recently bought a second hand upgrade for car did not know there is 220 chip or 250 chip my car is 250 new ecu /chip is from 220 car and has been remapped to suit mods bigger turbo injectors ect,I have fitted ecu to car it starts and runs fine,I am now going to have it run up on rolling road in Braco near Crieff ,has anyone done this should it be ok or are there differences someone said one has 24 pins one 28 does that matter?

Just to say it would appear the 220 chip/ecu runs my 250 ok,tried on rolling road all looks good to go try out on track asap
