944 virgin

Hello all

Having sold my 964 due to a new baby I have just replaced her with a rather splendid 1988 944 lux in ocean blue. She needs quite a bit of TLC and thus please expect lots of posts asking for help as I have the mechanical knowledge of a gibbon!!!!![:)][:)][:)]

The first impression whilst driving her home was the stability she offers in comparison to the tail happy 964. I was also supprised at the acceleration given she is just the 8v 2.5ltr.

Booked in for service, cross all fingers and toes that not too much needs doing as bought with heart and not head.

Cheers
Simon.

1988 944 Lux, ocean blue.

Good choice Simon. I still miss my '88 Lux and Belinda would swap Beaky for our previous 944 any day. She did reluctantly concede that the A/C is nice and the Linen interior is less claustrophobic but, otherwise, Beaky looses out on every other count. Never, ever ask her about insuring him either.

Hi Simon, welcome aboard. That is a pretty unusual colour, I don't think I've seen very many.

I look forward to hearing about the various TLC items as you find them [;)]
