Can't help feeling dark window tints should be left on BMW's. Happy to have my mind changed though if it's subtle enough[:)]

I have a gradual tint on both my black 944s: Ultra light smoke on the side windows, light smoke on the rear quarters and full smoke on the rear hatch. Looks great on a black car, and really helps to regulate the heat a bit when out driving on sunny days.

I'm with nuts here.

If you are dealing recreational pharmaceuticals from your E36, window tints are de rigeur.

If you are not, best leave the tints for those who are ...

Not my taste at all. Particularly not on something like a 944. (The fact that the 944 didn't attract this sort of ownership profile was one of the things that attracted me to the car.)

Better close your eyes Oli "¦ if you don't like tinted windows, then you probably won't like my tinted light clusters or side repeaters either!

Sorry to say my friend, but you are right. I don't like it ...

(I have seen much worse, I'll add, and it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would from your earlier description, but I don't like it!)

Horses for courses, of course.

One thing that spoils it for me is the standard windscreen with blue sunstrip tint. I'd really like to replace it with a non-sunstrip screen. I don't like the invasion of unwanted colour on my otherwise monochrome car.

Tinted windows look meh without spinners on the wheels.

PS check out the cool threads on the thread about Porsche "design" ,James they would complete the look you`re going for.
