Ah yes, but if someone hadn't put all that effort into organising a rally their wouldn't be an event to win a prize at in the first place. [8|]

Yet another excellent Rally. Thank you Geoff.

Well done to all the 944's that attended - The Smith's even brought two cars.

We had a great convoy of 6 944's (well 5 and a slim hipped 944 - 924S). We were expertly lead by Mrs Smith in an aesthetically pleasing formation of black car, red car, white car, black car, red car, white car. On the way back our convoy was reduced to four, but still looked cool.

Guys, you're spoiling me.

No, you really are spoiling me.....[;)]

A great day out, 240 miles with every extreme from being stuck behind a horsebox to demonstrating my suspension setup to Peter Empson at speed......

Thanks Geoff, look forward to next year!

Nice car, but who is the ugly git blocking the view?

Oli.

What an excellent way to spend a Sunday!

Thank you Geoff for organising such a fun event. The turnout was great and the roads stunning (if a little bumpy for those of us without McNulty grade soft suspension [;)] ; I'd even tried to back mine off a bit before setting out [:)])

Congratulations too for the Sims family for winning their award [:D]

I'm sure John's pics will be along soon, but here's one of my better ones:

It appears that Geoff photo-shopped me to look older and fatter, but still hugely attractive.......[&:]

You were much missed.

Assuming Geoff does one for next year I trust Mrs 944Turbo & little 944Turbo will be in attendance - she will be just the right age to start. [:)]

He did that to mine too []

Don't worry I shall ensure he spends the next week in sackcloth and ashes until he feels suitably sheepish.

I could always confiscate his Marillion tickets that I just bought too [8D]

I think that would be entirely appropriate.....and then we could go instead. [:)]

Fortunately, I don't believe the paintwork is "Fugazi" otherwise I might have been looking for an "Assassing". He would have then been your "Forgotten Son".

This is all starting to sound like a bit of a "Scrip for a Jesters Tear"

Don't start that one again [8|][:D]

You won't hear many of those old tracks at the current gigs, especially as their new album (the 14th !) was out a few weeks ago and they are currently touring to promote it. We are going to the Forum in London on Sat June 16th if anyone wants to join us? Did anyone catch the article in the Times on Saturday and their live appearance on Whispering Bob Harris' show on R2 at the weekend?

I'm surprised SteveR had time to post about his Griffin radiator for Big Dave yesterday, he should have been rehearsing for a gig in Rome tonight [:-]

I guess he managed the attractive bit <eats humble, apologetic pie>!

Shame - there is always room for nostalgia. You wouldn't credit it it but a bunch of people won a Porsche Club Award for driving 20 year old cars last weekend - how's that for nostalgia?

I'm not so sure. He seems to have some sort of light receptors on his head. Perhaps he is an alien?
