944s A/C Problem

Hi,

My new toy (944s) has A/C but I am not sure which way round the switch works is it light on for A/C on or like new cars where the light on means that the A/C is off ? I cannot tell by temp change as I think the refrid is low on gas. Its driving me made !!

Also what bulb is in the driving lights in the bumper as my local garage have no idea

Light is on when the a/c is on. Turn it on at idle and if it doesn't click (and the revs drop momentarily) then it isn't working.

I'm not sure what bulb the non-S2/Turbo driving lights use.

My Turbo handbook also covers the Lux. According to that, the foglamp is a 55w H3 bulb

Really? I don't remember what my '86 handbook was like but all the others have been Turbo & S2.

Thanks for that but it's not the fog lamp it's the driving lamp in the bumper that comes on with the headlights
