944S bent valves and a very clogged up engine

Pulled the head off my latest purchase Sunday (1988 944S) and a very sad state of affairs was revelled all inlet valves bent and all water ways completely clogged up [:(] so a bit of work to do here , luckily I still have a spare 16 valve engine so looks like a change is the order of the day and a rebuild at some point in the future and on that note if anyone has a spare 16valve head please let me know




 
Good luck from a fellow 944S owner, also some important information, If you don't know about the PAS switch causing DME loom fires (read my post or search the internet on the issue) if the two cables are connected to the switch at the rear of the PAS pump ""disconnect them"" and make them safe to prevent touching and shorting out.
