944S camshaft bolts....

[:mad:] Hello everyone,

Its too cold for my liking to be in a garage trying to take of my cylinder head....

My head gasket decided to give up after nineteen years. The problem is that I have tried to undo the bolts holding down the two camshafts on my 944S. But as soon as I put an allen style socket in the bolt to undo the bolts it just 'rounds' the socket.

Is this a design fault? and will I have to get some stud exstractor to get the bolts out?

Can anyone help me please.:rolleyes:

Hi Sean, i would give these guys a ring for a bit of advice Oak Tree garage just east of exeter the main man is a wizard when it come to porsches 01395568498 he is very happy to help....if not try this link www.clarksgarage.com and have a look at the a-z in workshop manuals i think...good luck mate...
