944s Exhaust

Hi All,

Does anyone no if there is a gasket or compression ring between the back box and the next part of the exhaust ? I am trying to cut costs and fit a new back box myself but not sure if I need a gasket or can just re-use the sealing ring if there is one.

If there is you should be able to reuse (I believe it costs aroung £30). When I replaced my exhaust recently I was advised that you can get away with re-using the crush ring so I did and no problems yet!!
 
Yes, technically there are differences but aftermarket parts cover S, 2.7l and S2, so they must be small.
 
I have a full stainless system available or a stainless rear box Martin

I currently have an S in for a customer at the moment with a dodgy exhaust and he is deciding on the full or rear box so one will be available

will know which one tomorrow
