I have just sold my 3.2 Carrera, and have taken a 1988 944s in part exchange.115K miles in guards red with linen.Lovely condition with no rust. Not sure if to keep the car until my next Porsche arives,or to sell it now.
I looking for £3500 for it if anyone is interested.

Yes you are spot on!
I am even thinking about getting another 944 turbo instead of another 911!
I have owned 6 944 s before(3x turbo,2x 2.5,and 1x 2.7)along with 4 911 s and 1 928,and i allways seem to end up with another 944!

You need to get modding a 944 Turbo. You will never want anything else.......................Which is just as well as, once you tasted the heady fruits of the dark side, you'll never be able to afford anything else. They are the cheapest most expensive horse power you are likely to find.

If i was to get another 944 turbo(it would have to be an 86,as i would want to put fuchs on it)is it feasable to get it up to 300 bhp,and it still be reliable?

Don't see why not - it's the same motor as the later cars, just with a smaller turbo.
