944's in films?

I was reminiscing on my last post (why can't I sell my S2) about a film I saw as a child.
It was called Condorman & featured baddies in black 911's. This was probably what started me on the path of Porschedom.

Anyway, I've just ordered the film and it got me thinking, which films/TV programmes have featured 944's?

I'll give my contribution

The parole officer with Steve Coogan... Quite tragic as the car is set on fire at the beginning!

Some film called renegade

Cool. I have a set of wheels identical to that sitting in my shed if anyone is interested.....assuming Paul doesn't want them......as he hinted that he might.

Excellent. I'll get the tyres stirpped off then then as I have no doubt you wont be wanting hard core track day tyres.

Miami Vice, class!

Is that a Nissan Silvia out in front? I had a black Silvia ZX turbo (precurser to the 200SX) for over 4 years. Hugely reliable motor. I may even have a photo somewhere.

I am a HUGE Miami vice fan,did prefer the Daytona Spyder to the Testarossa even if it was a rep, nearly screamed when the guy rocket launched at it!Best episodes were the early ones... then later when Crocket lost his memory and turned bad...happy days[:D]!
P.S The later motion picture was a joke...BOOOO![:'(]

I was Miami Vice's biggest fan [:D] My mum has a classic photo of me wearing a jacket with the sleeves roled up and a salmon coloured t-shirt when on holiday when I was 15 [:D][:D]

We got burgled one night and the video recorder was stolen [&:] I was really upset as it was the night my tape was in to record that nights episode of Miami Vice, I was gutted[:(] [:(]

Found this website with the list of Porsches used in Movies, with lots of 944 references:

My immediate thought was 'The Specialist' but I remembered it wrong, it was a 968 convertible in Rubystone (I think the same car was used in the first episode of Chicago hope)

There was one in Eric Bana's film "Love The Beast", he was showing a montage
of cars he'd raced over the years and the 944 was one of them.

Fantastic film by the way, if you are in to cars you have to see it.

Unfortunately I did see that!!

I remember sitting in the cinema saying out loud "that's a 944, those b*stards",
with my "friend" sitting beside me in a fit of laughter!
