Sorry to post in this request here, having ongoing issues on cold idle on my 944S

So looking for a while of a standard Eprom or ProMax to eliminate the unknown chipped version in my ECU...I don't want a race version so hopefully someone may have one kicking around in a static bag/box in a draw?
The ECU unit is generally a blue id sticker with 944 618 124 01 (and Bosch No 0 261 200 187) I can't provide a Eprom chip number as mine running on this unknown upgrade chip

Thanks in advance

John

Probably off topic but I was having an idle problem with my S2 which turned out to be vacuum leak from the hose connection under the intake manifold (nipple is press fit and loosened over many heat cycles). JB weld provided the fix this time. If it re-occurs then time to tap the hole and put in a threaded fitting. This is on a car with only 126k Kilometers so kind of an oddball issue.

Cheers Bruce

Yes, I know what your talking about, took the whole manifold off and resealed core plugs as they looked badly corroded and repainted the whole thing.

HELP HERE please....
For those that may know...ECU for the 944S (mines the 5volt version) 944 618 124 01 // Bosch No 0 261 200 187 // TYP 944 S-ME-01
Will the S2 3.0Ltr ECU 944 618 124 05 // Bosch No 0 261 200 458. // TYP 944 S-ME-02
works or is a replacement installed directly into the 944S ??
