looked at Burt Gears site but can't make head or tail of it so can't work out what bit i need to order ???[:-]

any help very gratefully received.

Helen, It is the whole unit you need and it'll cost you about £90. Mine had a small hole in the glass which Mike at Zentrum filled in with some clear sealant to stop the light from filling with water at my last service. It's worked fine so far and with it only being a small hole you can't see it so I've just left it rather than spend £90.

I have got a unit that I bought off ebay but the rear of the housing has broken and had a bit of a heath robinson fix. It is supposed to work fine and the fix seems pretty robust but you wont be able to pull the unit apart to replace the bulbs but the glass lens is perfectly intact and once it's fitted in the car it will look perfect. The only reason I didn't go ahead and fit it was because the repair Zentrum did seems to be perfectly fine. I'll check its a passenger side lamp and if so you are welcome to trial fit this unit to see if it works and looks OK and if you want it you can have it for £30. Drop me a note if you are interested.

Helen,
Eurocarparts have the inserts (the bit you need) listed for £69 & if you search the forum you'll find details of how to get about 10% off that price from the Leeds branch, I don't think they charge postage either.

I have the same problem, however mines is the drivers side lens which is cracked. I bought one off of ebay from PrestonPorsche breakers yard. It was £30 but they sent me the wrong lamp. When I explained this they told me to send it back and they would change it no problem as it was their mistake. I did this by recorded delivery and they have never sent me the correct one or replied to any of my emails. So now im £30 out of pocket and still no lens. Don't deal with them cos they rip you off! I shall have to try Euro Car Parts again cos I thought it was only the whole unit they sold.

These are the Eurocarparts Nos. from their website for the genuine bosch inserts (lens units) without the grey plastic housings
