Hi all just dug out my S2 started up and tried everything , sunroof tried but did not open ,so I tried again , but I think the relay has failed , also instrument gauges have failed , I've tried a new ingition relay but still nothing , so does anyone have a spare sunroof relay for sale so I can try this
Cheers all stay safe Sam ??

It will start ok ,but no gauges on instrument work , all lights etc work fine ,horn , fogs , just not the sunroof , I think it's blown a fuse or relay as I could hear the sunroof motor trying , number 18 fuse is ok but changed anyway , just don't have a sunroof relay , I bought an old 944 fuse box lid with around 10 relays and various fuses , but alas there was no sunroof relay with it , shot to nothing really as it only cost £20 , so I'll have to bite the bullet and get a new relay and see where we go from there

It’s the no instruments that makes me think that

try jiggling the key about and see if the dash comes back to life

i have some 944 relays in a box

do you have a part number for the relay

Hi waylander
94461511702[/h1]It's never done this in the 10 years I've had it , it happened the same time the sunroof went I'm just assuming they're connected.
Incidentally I have a spare mint 944/964 cobalt blue steering wheel circa1990

My car is classic grey inside, but thanks for the offer

i can tell you from experience that these cars do odd things when the switch is duff
