I'm looking for the rear undertray, that's the one covering the wastegate etc. Somehow the original seems to have been mislaid during the cars long life. I do wonder if it's really necessary??
If anyone near to the Cambs area can help please let me know.

One of my cars has one the other one is missing, no difference to honest, but if i find a cheap one i will buy and fit just to keep the car complete.

If you find one let me know if there is a pot of Irish gold next to it [:D]. It's not really necessary and most have been removed and long gone.

Rob,
Found one but i thought it was overpriced £30 plus postage, obviously Porsche fitted them for a reason, but maintenance is a lickle bit easier when it is not fitted.

Edited as my keyboard is playing up ! (SP)

Yes maintenance is easier and I think it is generally accepted that engine cooling is better without it mate.

Thanks for your responses.
By common consent it doesn't appear to be critical.
I just thought it might be better to keep the road crud away from the wastegate ?

Just to add a different spin I noticed quite a difference in front end stability when all these were removed on my 3.2 car. I could actually feel the lift on the front end at speed where before the car felt very solid and pressed into the ground at speed. I do think they have quite a dramatic effect on downforce

Interesting. Were there two on all the models? I know that there is one on my S2, at the front, and I can't remember seeing anything to suggest that there was ever a rear one fitted.

Was this a turbo-only part?

AFAIK this was a turbo and S2 part only. It is all aprt of the increased downforce/groundplaning effect. I think the front tray and valenec do most of the work though.
