964 3.3 turbo ... headstud problems?

Does the 3.3 turbo (964) have a history of headstud problems? My friends has been diagnosed with heads not sealing properly & been told its a headstud problem. I have recommended seeing if the heads just need re torquing up.

Is this a known problem?

I think the engine is identical to the 3.3 930.

It's got to be worth a try to re-torque them.
