964 Annual Meet Monday 2nd May at Donington Historic Festival 2016

We have an infield parking area which will have a 964 reserved spot so those wishing to go on the Monday are welcome to join. Please be aware that this is on the Monday only, the actual festival will be on all weekend. Send me a text or email to reserve your spot otherwise you'll be in the general parking area.
Take care when buying your ticket to tick the box for Infield Parking as well. The code 2016DHFPCGB is valid until 24th April and allows 2 for 1 at only £24 including parking which is a damned good price and a third of that of Silverstone.

Copied from the Donington website.
Whether you’re a long-time enthusiast or have never seen a historic racing car in action before, you’ll find plenty to entertain you at the Donington Historic Festival. After five very successful years the event is firmly established as a major fixture on the international historic racing calendar, attracting many thousands of spectators, hundreds of world-class historic racing cars and huge numbers of classic car club displays.
As the archive videos on this page show, Donington Park has a fabulous history, from the days of the pre-War Silver Arrows GP cars right through to modern times, and the Festival calls upon all that history, creating a fantastic atmosphere at what is arguably the best spectator circuit in the country.
As well as watching such iconic machines fighting it out on track, spectators can wander round the race paddocks, enjoying free access and getting up close to the cars and stars. And there are always plenty of off-track attractions and live action – including legendary Group B rally cars, autojumble and memorabilia stalls, cafés, bars and food outlets – and extensive club displays of classic cars from the dozens of car clubs that create a ‘living motoring museum’ right in the heart of the infield. Donington Historic Festival 2016!

Picture from my archive 2013 showing the fabulous viewing position we have next to the track.
The R8 hospitality tent with drinks and biscuits is available nearby to sit and socialise.
Please email me on 964@porscheclub.com to reserve your place.

Any PCGB Porsche model can park in the general infield area, this thread is exclusively for 964's

It was fine until 12 then it was raining on and off until 3:30, then sunshine for the end of the day. Later I went to R8 monthly meet and met up with many old friends. So I had a good day.
I reserved a spot on the edge of the parking area overlooking the track so when it rained I could watch the racing in relative comfort.

I was annoyed by the 2 members who didn't turn up and didn't have the courtesy to let me know and thereby prevented 2 other 964's from taking their places.
