Saturday September 5th sees the main event for middle year cars at Kirtlington in Oxfordshire.

The 964 is a featured model and we need 4 cars for a central display. The cars should be in presentable, original condition to show off the features of the model.

If you think that your car is suitable and you would like to be involved please contact your Register Secretary, Dave Wilkinson, at 964@porscheclubgb.com

Perhaps that was a personal invite for our Nick Appleton [:D]

Since old habits die hard, I've been taking mine to bits, fixing stuff that doesn't work and then reassembling, hopefully with nothing left over![8|]

Just been fitting some 6mm wheel spacers to push those Cup 1s further out into the arches - looks much better now, with the new negative camber front and rear plus low RS ride height settings. Yes, I know, I'm a tart.....[8|][:D]

Neither Steve Brookes or myself will be attending this I'm afraid. Anyone wishing to take part in the display should let me know and I'll pass on the details.

Dave

Just a quick update for those wishing to attend. Melvin Spear - 964RS Register Secretary - has agreed to coordinate for both Registers and is looking for a couple of reasonably standard, well presented 964s to join with a couple of RS'es for the central arena display. Anyone wishing to participate should contact Melvin directly on 964rs@porscheclubgb.com.

Apart from the arena display, all other cars will be parked by Register.

Regards

Dave

Thanx Dave -Herr Ives requires two 964's to go alongside two 964RS's for the central display. They DO NOT have to be in concours condition.

Register support vehicle in attendance at the Register parking area with chairs and tables -bring a picnic!!

Well.....I have been totally (1 to date -thanx Andy!) underwhelmed by the response.....are you all Blenheimed/BBQ'ed out?

Melv, happy to park my C2 there but I thought you were looking for near standard cars.
Mines red with Carrera script down the sides, 993 BBS wheels and RSA rear spoiler and i'd have thought not what you want. But let me know if no-one else volunteers. See register BBQ thread for pic.
Bob.

For those that made the effort, thankyou!!

That second high goal game was cracking and you won't often see better polo than that!

Do you know the team names, Melv? I guessed the first one was two English teams and the second an International against an Argentine team - but I couldn't understand a word of the PA!

One of the first two teams was the |Blenheim Palace team and in fact the Duke of Malborough's grandson was playing.
