I have a small fluid leak, it seems to be from the pressure switch. Is it just a case of replacing the o-ring?
964 Celebration.

Yep

It's easy. Remove air cleaner box. And remove rhs inlet pipe. It allows much better access although it can be done by reaching through. The o ring from opc is now an upgraded one and I am told it's slightly better. I did mine and I have not got any oil in that area now.

Que??

I think the pressure switch that Mike is referring to is in the front luggage compartment? If it's the green pressure switch tagged on to the back of the pressure pump then I'd be inclined to change the switch as well. IIRC they're only about £60 and fairly critical for safe operation.

I'm pretty sure mine has had it and it caused the pump to sieze. It freed off OK when it eventually cooled down but I've yet to get it tested properly. I suspect a new pressure switch MIGHT solve the problem and not a new £1200 pump!!!

Dave

Thanks Guys,

It is the pump in the front luggage compartment. There is a seal shown on the parts list that goes between the switch and pump so will try this first.
Is it just a case of unscrewing switch? is it under pressure? will I loose fluid?

Mike
