964 C2 Cab for Sale

Hi
i have recently bought a 964 from Jersey .The car was origanly sold in the uk then exported to
Jersey Sep 2014 .I have been told VAT of 20% has to be paid.Can anyone give me advice
as the government website has conflicting information

You only pay VAT once, so it was paid when when it was originally bought in UK. When exporting to Jersey it depends if there is a scheme of claiming back VAT, if so you'll have to pay again when it's imported. The VAT man will know and you can phone Inland Revenue and ask them.

My wife bought a car in Jersey last year and initially thought that as it had first been registered in England that no further VAT was due. Wrong. The websites can be misleading.
 
Just re-looked at this advert. I must say, from the photos this cabrio looks in beautiful condition; the interior is sublime. Great colour combination; If I only had a double garage ;)
Would like to have seen a few more pics, say from under the bonnet and engine bay.
