I'm pretty sure you can still order them through your local OPC. They do come up on eBay from time to time as well but I don't think the new ones are that expensive.

Try www.type-911.co.uk or www.design911.co.uk
Personally, I'd recommend Type 911 as he's a small specialist shop and deserves supporting. The guy who owns it is called Matt and the shop is in Beckenham - it's only 2 miles from where I live which is both a bonus and a bad thing. His new website is a big improvement on the old one and he now has secure, on-line ordering.
Message to the mods - I have no affilliation with the shop or the owner but we have to support the smaller businesses or they will not be there for us when we need them.

Banned! []
Seriously, I think we're all agreed that there is a huge difference between members supporting specialists and people using the forum as a free advert for their business. Keep the recommendations coming.
Porscheshop also do handbooks. I can't believe how they cost more than a hardback low-run book though! []

Thanks for the tips.
The new ones are £25 but I don't really want to spend that much, more like £5 for a used one. I'll try someone like Douglas Valley and see what they have.
Cheers
Is that for real? A porsche in the garage and begrudging £25........
almost lost for words..

It's a race car so I'll be ripping out most of the instruments and interior, I'd just like to know what I'm ripping out, like the little button near the spoiler control which has an exclamation mark on it....... I won't need the manual after I've done all my chopping so seems a waste to buy a new book.
That's the button to temporarily cancel the big warning light on the dash if it comes on.

Makes sense now,
£5 is probably the right amount, then again there's always PET and some guys have cd's of the manual, if you ask nicely.
