Has anyone ever ordered or fitted one of the stainless steel ones available on eBay...

Need a new cat by-pass to replace my holed one. Seems quite reasonable but also very aware that you get what you pay for (most of the time).

I looked at one of those but in the end I chickened out and fitted a Danske (approx £218). My techie had experience with the Danske as a good bit of kit with all the right fitments in the right place - couldn't be sure about the e-Bay pipe.

I guess it can't really hurt given that a decat is basically just a pipe but you might find that you need to make mods when you fit it and negate the savings.

You pays your money...

If you take the plunge I'd be interested to hear your experience with it for future reference.

Dominic.

Indeed you get what you pay for Rich. I bought one and pretty much sold it on since the bore size was a bit too small for my liking.

'Nuff said Talat, thank you. Which cat bypass did you go for in the end?

Need recommendations. And would prefer stainless steel. Is the Dansk one the prefered route?

Who did you buy it from? Gert at Carnewal or a UK company?

Hi Rich - I have one of these. It seems OK - the angle of the O2 sensor is a bit unusual, but otherwise it seems to do the trick. It sounds good when fitted to a standard system.

There was a thread about 9 months ago discussing this very part on PCGB. Might have a look around.

Cheers, Lee
