I am starting a post on the Events where I hope there will be interesting things for 964 owners to participate and meet up at etc.

In the plan there is participation in the Thames Valley Region Day on 23rd or 24th June if that event is confirmed, visit to Mercedes Benz World in August, and the National Event in September at Ragley Hall.

But to start with I have tentatively arranged a July visit for Porsche 964 owners to Center Gravity (http://www.centergravity.co.uk) in Hinkley "" just outside Nuneaton.

As some of you know, Chris Franklin at Center Gravity specialises in setting up suspension and geometry for sports cars, Porsches a speciality, for both road and track. Their services include all the normal setups including Corner Weighting.

Chris has kindly offered to spend a good chunk of a day hosting us on either Saturday 7th July or Sunday 8th July.

The day would include:

"¢ TechTalk with a practical demonstration with a donor car.

"¢ Principles of corner weighting are demonstrated

"¢ Camber, Castor and Toe adjustments shown using digital presentation and visual aids - i.e. tyres!

Refreshments will be available too.

I need to get back to Chris by end next week "" so if you are interested please drop me a line, respond to this post, etc.

They can accommodate approx 10-15 cars.
