From memory - A Manning, fully comp, classic car policy, unlimited mileage including business usage (do about 15K a year in it), oem cat 2 immobiliser, ungaraged but live in country so not on road, trackdays covered, at about £450 ish in total.

performance marque have just quoted me £297, for c2 1990 , 5000 miles per year and agreed value, garaged, £150 excess

to be honest i think that is ok.

Being garaged seems to make a huge difference, as A Manning quoted me over £700 for a Carrera 2. My car will be as good as garaged, behind 6ft high solid wood gates which are padlocked and not on view from the road, but there is no category for this and assumed to be on the drive.
