Wednesday, 18th May 2011 from 20:00 onwards, at the West Meon GU32 1JX

To give me some idea on potential interest, if you think you may attend please drop me an email or PM.

Apologies for the somewhat short notice on this, but my desperate search for a job is still at the top of my list unfortunately. Ultimately for me, no job = no Porsche. This is not how I want things to become.

Amanda

I want to get out and meet more 964 drivers. But unfortunately it is too far for me, 4 hour drive.

Maybe something could be arranged further North in the future.

regards Lee

Lee, I quite understand. Four hours drive for a pub drink is excessive in anyones book!

If you'd fancy being an envoy for the north with a similar 964 Reg pub meeting in mind, then do let me know.

Hi Amanda, have just come across this post. I'm up for it as long as the weather holds, might even get the 'boss' to come along. Have you had any more interest?

Oh and presume it's a pub?

Bob.

Unfortunately tonight's meet (18th May) didn't go quite as planned. Apologies to anyone else who may have arrived to find nobody there. Sadly, I had no prior knowledge of what I found and the situation was beyond my control. The West Meon pub was quite literally swamped under a hoard of Vespa scooter riders and there was simply nowhere to park, let alone hold a 964 Register meet.

However, a new and much quieter venue has been discovered by chance (many thanks Bob and Michelle!), just 5 mins away from the one originally planned, so we still managed a grand turnout of TWO cars.

The next meet will be Wednesday 15th June from 19:30 onwards
at
The Fox Inn
Bramdean (on the A272), Hampshire SO24 0LP

Here's to hoping a few more can make it next time!
