Hi everybody,
New to the board. I'm considering the purchase of a 964 or 993 RS (or cup car with a reg) for club racing and track day playing. I used to race a 993 Cup in the US a few years back and remember consumable costs to be very high (every week-end was 2 sets of slicks, a set of Pagids, an oil change, and an engine/gearbox rebuild every 50 to 75 hrs)... However, I have the itch to play again and was wondering if anyone had any perspective on running costs of 964 vs 993 RS/RS CS/Cup cars as well as their competitiveness in the club and where the most fun can be had.
