964 RSR

You are correct. This is a car built up from parts and a 964 C2 shell. I'm sure the parts they used are all correct, so it would cost roughly that to build it. Makes a real one with good provenance look like a steel. The 996 RSR on their site is a real rarity. One of the few proper 996 RSR that were only done in 2004, rather than earlier car with upgrade parts. Also got some great history and like new having been little used. It's very tempting even though it is a kettle.

FREISINGER DO HAVE SOME VERY NICE CARS AND DO SOME NICE RESTORATIONS (sorry bloody caps lock) although not always 100% perfect with some of the older stuff. Always top prices but always worth a look at their site regularly. As Paul says not a real RSR and they don't claim it to be either saying it was built on a C2 shell so fair play to them.

Cheers chaps, just as I suspected. I think the price threw me a bit. Looks lovely though[:)]

Hmm, given he had the ex-Richard Lloyd car that failed to make £30k at auction and was then for sale for £32k AND I heard Herr F got thrown in free when he bought the Canon 956 up for the same price as this one I think there is a HIGH degree of optimism in his prices... http://www.freisinger-motorsport.de/porsche/uk/Porsche_Cars_for_sale/94.html But given the Lloyd car isnt on his site anymore, maybe he IS actually selling them at those prices.. although majority of them seem to have been on there for a LONG while...
