964 Summer BBQ CANCELLED

Hi everyone, or perhaps just those who originally signed up for the BBQ,

Unfortunately due to the very low return on numbers wanting to attend this event, we have had to cancel it. I believe some people put payment through via Paypal or possibly direct to Dave Wilkinsons bank account, so if you have quesries on return of your cash, please contact Dave.

PLEASE EVERYONE! this is your register and if people have ideas about things they'd like to do socially or car events, do make contact with me. I can organise gatherings, but your suggestions would be very helpful in running events that people want to attend.

That's disappointing Amanda as it was a good gathering last year. But obviously the Hotel are doing it as a business and if they can sell the room/space/whatever to more people, that's understandable.

However, for those who had booked, all may not be lost.

Region 17 are having a 'Drive and BBQ' event, starting at 9.00am (Winall Tescos car park - Winchester) arriving at the Elvetham about 1pm ish on Sunday the 8th August.

If anyone who had booked the 29th, or may not have been able to attend that day and would like to attend the drive or just the BBQ on the 8th, Region 17 would be happy to include you. There are approx 18-20 cars attending to date.

If you check with Dave regarding the money you have already paid, he may be able to forward it to Michelle at the hotel.
