964 Targa

Hi

I am just in the process of buying a 1991 white 964 Targa--I have a 993 C2S currently--I have asked the seller for the VIN WPOzzz96zis411185 engine number 62115607, given to me by the current owner

I have looked through Peter Morgan's book--and the numbers do not seem to match up--with a 1991 targa--even if the zIS was read as a ZLS--targa's seem to range between 410001 to 4100322 the numbers seem more like a 1990 car.

Am I correct in this? I would appreciate any help here.
