964 turbo 3.6 - original list prices?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what the UK list prices were for the 3.6 turbo back in late 1993 / early 1994?

Allowing for inflation I'm wondering how they compare with the likes of the latest Turbo, Gt3RS and GT2 models???

I saw a 52k miler advertised on Pistonheads for c£50k - if it ever realises close to that, the depreciation will have been negligible (though I guess we may be nearing the end of a glorious bubble [8|].

I believe the basic cost was around £92,000 rising to around £136,000 for the S versions.
Allowing for inflation the basic versions would be somewhere near the GT2 models
I wouldnt be surprised to see prices continue to rise for collectors cars.

That Maritime Blue car on PH was sold by Paragon to a PH'er in double quick time so I'm guessing he didn't negotiate the price down very much. Lovely looking car mind, but a heavy price IMHO.

Dave. I'm sure that's the same car I looked at before I bought mine a few years back. Wasn't as "standard" as the one I went for in the end, but a nice (if a tad loud [8D]) car nonetheless. Loved the colour too. If they got near £50k that's stunning; my mileage is about the same. Still, makes looking after mine worthwhile....[:)].

Im in touch with the guy who bought it in a heartbeat. He loves it , though now wants the exhaust a bit louder !
Theres a higher mileage LHD on on mobile.de at present for £52k
Prices are still going higher , i would only be tempted by £60k for mine now.
The sexiest Porsche ever made and only 85 or so in RHD ...

If it was the one I saw then if the chap wants it louder I suggest he buys a hearing aid [:D]!!! Deafening at idle...

I understood the number of C16 cars was between 42 and 47 cars, not a high as 85? Where does your stat come from?

Yes C16 was 42 but there were other RHD countries. 15 went to Australia , 6 to Brunei , up to 20 went to
NZ,Singapore,HK,Malasia.I have good contacts in these areas - it is the UK cars i am still struggling to
locate !

Thanks for the info on RoW models - I never knew how many were produced for other RHD countries.

Perhaps a few were trashed by overzealous drivers when these were the new toys on the block??[8|]
