964 Turbo S

I heard Nick Faldo turned it down a few months ago when it was offered at £90k !
If it was LHD i could see it selling better with the exchange rate..
When i saw it then it had a highly modified exhaust.

Does this car keep going out to Hong Kong for it's holidays or something??? How many times have Gmund had this car up for sale?? Every time it gets sold the price goes up!! It must be one of those rare examples which has done more mileage by sea and air than it has under it's own steam!!!

'You jealous of its travel arrangements, eh Dave???[;)][:D]

I'm just aghast at the way the price goes up every time it comes back.. To the best of my knowledge the car has been sold to Hong Kong twice in the last year, the first time it went for around £80K, the last time for around £95K and now it's up for £110K. From what I remember it was on about 15,000 miles the last time it was up for sale so it's been used for an additional 2,000 miles or so. I can only imagine that the price uplift is to cover the shipping cost.

I guess the car is worth what they can get for it and, in the light of RS prices still going skywards, it's not entirely unreasonable that the nearest thing you'll ever get to a Turbo RS is worth decent money. It's undoubtably a lovely car but it remains to be seen if it's £100K lovely!! Andrew will surely find somebody.

At last ! - I hope the new owner contacts me.

About the 3.3s - its not so much the price going up but the pound going down !
